Malaysia-Thailand Border: Wang Kelian, Perlis - Wang Prachan, Khuan Don, Satun

Wang Kelian in Perlis state is a small village located at Malaysia-Thailand border in North of Peninsular Malaysia. In Thailand, Wang Prachan, sub-district of Khuan Don district which located in Satun Province shared the border with Wang Kelian. Both side were connected by a road through a hill on the Nakawan Range.

During daytime, people from both countries can pass through the immigration check point to shopping at these area. There are several markets at both side of countries which sold clothes, souvenirs, toys, kitchen equipments, fruits and foods. These markets accept both Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and Thai Baht (THB) currency.

Peoples at this area were very friendly and can speak in Malaysian and Thailand language. Some of them can speak in English language. There are also motorcycle services which act like a taxi for the visitor to transfer from both borders.
